Due to the high volume of e-mails I have received combined with my itch to get back behind my camera... I am going to take 2 appointments for this coming Saturday at the following times:

These will be 1 hour sessions in the above pictured location. I literally just took that picture in order to show how the fall leaves are all cute right now :)

Derek & Sarah's Wedding was held at The Gardens in Toquerville. They had a sweet ceremony followed by a yummy lunch and a fun reception. Luke & I enjoyed being there for all the festivities and have enjoyed getting to know Derek & Sarah. What a wonderful day for them and their families.

Both of my blogs have been seriously neglected... sad.

I've changed the way I'm doing my client proofing and blog posting hasn't been a part of that... that's my excuse for not posting my recent stuff.

What is this change? Well since I have changed my packages to include ALL of the unedited images for you use for scrapbooking, blogging, facebook, whatever you want... they are pictures of you afterall. So my process has changed... I now burn a disc with ALL the unedited images within the first couples of days (instead of doing a blog preview). I then allow you to choose the images you would like to edit. I encourage you to please have those chosen and let me know within a week so I can get the images edited within 1-2 weeks... 2 weeks being the max. With that being said... here are a few for you to enjoy!

Taking a break.... I'll add more pics later!! :) Things are finally starting to look like Spring in Cedar... which means lots of fun pictures outside!!! YEAH!!!

So I haven't had a whole lot of time to post every session on my blog. So I wanted to post some of my favorites.

Between the pics I'm going to share some news and general information. :)

The "M" Family - Winners of the contest I had to help promote Luke and I's hopes to adopt. Thanks again to everyone who participated including the "M" family. :)

I will be publishing my website and posting new availability the day after Christmas. (That's the plan hehe)

Due to the nagging of my husband and proof that I'm making... not very much haha. I will be raising my prices at the end of January. I wanted to make it so I was being better compensated but that you were receiving more for your money... SO, starting the end of January... I will offer the following packages...

Regular Session: 10 edited photos & ALL unedited photos on a CD w/ copyright release = $70

The Big Bang Session: The biggest bang for your buck. 15 edited photos & ALL unedited photos on a CD w/ copyright release = $85

Large Session: 20 edited photos & ALL unedited photos on a CD w/ copyright release = $110

Like I said though, these changes won't be taking place until the end of January 2010.

I'm now the proud owner of my very own studio equipment. This addition will provide an opportunity for me to have more availability as well as the possibility to shoot school dances and other events. :)

I'm going to be running some contests, specials, and even FREE shoots in the near future. So make sure to check back around Christmas for the first surprise!

Lastly, I wanted to make sure to write this. I'm very flattered by the e-mails I receive with questions about composition, equipment, and photo editing. However, due to the already diminished time spent with my family and friends so I can be active in my photography, I really don't have the time or even the energy (I get pooped haha) to reply. SO, here is my info...

-I shoot with Canon equipment
-I edit with Photoshop
-My studio equipment is from the company Square Perfect
-I took a basic photography class in college
-I have spent countless hours reading and learning about how to take and edit photos.

There is lots of great information out there! Seek it out and eat it up!!! :)

Finally, I'm super grateful for everyone who has given me the opportunity to take their photos. Every session is fun and unique and I LOVE IT!

What an adorable family! They were so much fun to shoot, and such good sports (Luke was inside the house with a really bad migraine, so I was more distracted than I wanted to be).
